The Eyesore Database [1] is a popular web-based discography for the 4AD record label. The database was well-maintained for several years, providing a very thorough listing of all releases on the label, with extensive tracklistings, album covers, credits, trivia and even entries for albums by 4AD artists that were not released on the label.
Around 1998, work on the website started to wane. In recent years, work on the database has picked up, although many releases from the late '90s through 2006 are not listed. Still, the Eyesore Database is seen by 4AD fans as one of the more essential web resources for the label.
